Men & Women, Trump v. Clinton

I thought this was interesting.  Look at the two maps carefully, and form your own opinions.  Comments are most welcome.

  1. Sue M. says:

Doesn’t surprise me one bit. My informal poll of friends and relatives in two Midwestern swing states went like this:

    Women (13): Clinton 9, Trump 2, Undecided 2

Men (9): Trump 5, Clinton 3, Too disgusted with both and politics in general to vote 1

  2. I feel like a lot of women are voting for Hilary simply because she’s a woman. You know, like in the same manor a lot of black people voted for Obama because he is black. I think this is a horrible way to vote and it further infuriates me because I hate “single-issue voters.” At least the single issue of the majority of these voters is legitimate and not based on one’s gender or race. But I guess in a political race, like all other races, you do what you have to do and pander who you have to pander to in order to win. It does make me wonder who the democratic nominee will be in 4 to 8 years. A Mexican, maybe, or a Muslim? Will the Republican Party finally catch on run someone other than an old, white male?

  3. It’s infuriating to me that the one thing I dislike most about politics is single-issue voters and that seems to be the case in this situation. At least normal single-issue voters have a legit issue and not just gender or race (which are both very foolish reasons to give someone your vote). Who will the Dems have run in 4 or 8 years? A Mexican? A Muslim, maybe? Will the Right catch on to this trend and run someone other than an old, white male?

  4. This is infuriating to me because I know a lot these women are voting for Hilary because she’s a woman. I hate single-issue voters and give a lot of so-called Rebuplicans a lot crap for doing it. I can say this: at least those particular Republican’s single-issue is legitimate and not solely based on gender or race. Makes me wonder if the Dems are using this to their advantage and if so who they’ll run next go around. And if that is the case will the Republicans catch up and run someone other than the conservative standard old, rich guy.
