In the second case, 6 people were killed and several more were wounded.  The 11-year-old boy and 13-year-old boy were tried as juveniles, incarcerated, and released on their 21st birthdays as free men.  The community that they terrorized 15 years ago, however, has had trouble recovering from what happened.

In the first case, about 12 people were killed and several more were wounded.  The perpetrators are still at large and are apparently still working in responsible positions in the American National Security Complex.  I have not yet found out how the terrorized community, in this case, is handling this.
