Amazing Chutzpah

There is an old Jewish joke used to describe chutzpah — a yiddish word for that attitude of mind that is part daring, part crazy, part incredible.  The joke goes like this:

A Jewish young man is brought before the elders on charges that he murdered his father and his mother.  He is found guilty and faces a severe sentence.  He then demands clemency on the grounds that he is an orphan.

     That is chutzpah.

I would say that the following report also illlustrates chutzpah:

  1. Sounds like acting with chutzpah creates and perpetuates at least part of the “antisemitism” they so vehemently decry.
