And who cares?!, you say.
In fact, I’ve spent a lot of time “orbiting the Manosphere,” researching various people and ideas who make up the “MRM – men’s rights movement,” “MGTOW – men going their own way,” and others. The Manosphere is deeply anti-feminist (of course). I hope to write something about it soon, probably here first, and later, perhaps, at Sycamore Three.
I’ve been staying in touch with Futurians, former students of mine, and my continually growing family. The large circle of good friends, both on and off the internet, continues to grow.
And I’ve started another blog, as you can see. My blog names keep the pattern of common trees and odd numbers.
Right now, the internet is intensely alive and flourishing, with good people sharing thoughtful and thought-provoking ideas. I fully expect it to keep right on growing and serving a good purpose — unless the government tries to shut it down. That could happen, of course, but I doubt it. I think a fairly free internet is here to stay, at least for a while. I hope so.
